The International Tennis Federation this week announced the launch of a new online store designed to offer visitors easy access to the full range of publications, clothing, DVDs, accessories and gifts currently sold by the ITF.

The ITF Store (https://store.itftennis.com, and also available via the homepage of www.itftennis.com) enables new customers to make purchases using credit or debit cards. Information is available in three languages: English, French and Spanish.

The store offers an exclusive range of tennis publications designed for anyone with an interest in tennis, from full-time coaches to the armchair tennis fan.

The ITF Development Department offers a wide selection of coaching and development publications for tennis coaches. These are designed for teachers and coaches working with players at all levels, providing detailed information on improving coaching skills. Also available is a DVD produced by the Federation Francaise de Tennis in collaboration with the ITF, which details various programmes for adults within a club environment.

The ITF’s Technical Centre has made available a complete set of papers from its two international congresses on Tennis Science & Technology, in 2000 and 2003, which brought together a wide range of scientists, equipment manufacturers, coaches and court constructors to discuss the latest technical issues in tennis.

Fans of the ITF’s major team competitions, Davis Cup and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas, are able to purchase Davis Cup by BNP Paribas – the Year in Tennis, a fully illustrated record of each Davis Cup year, and the Davis Cup and Fed Cup media guides. Also on sale is The ITF Year, the comprehensive colour record of the tennis world and ITF’s activities each year.

The store also offers a range of clothing including fleeces, polo shirts, t-shirts and caps, complete with official Davis Cup, Fed Cup and ITF logos. Gift ideas include a Davis Cup bean bear, and sterling silver Davis Cup cufflinks.

Mat Pemble, the ITF’s Manager of Information and Communications Technology, said: “The ITF Store has allowed us to streamline sales of our publications and other merchandise, and provides a better platform for some of our activities. Visitors to the site are now able to access all our products much more easily.”
